Shaykh Jalal Abualrub

Shaykh Jalal Abualrub has contributed to helping the Muslim ummah in many ways, whether it is through teaching at various masajid, Islamic centers, colleges and universities, or through writing and translating myriad Islamic texts. Currently, Jalal Abualrub is translating Tafseer as Sa’di, in its entirety, for Darrussalam Publications. A few of the topics that he taught include Aqeedah, Tafsir, Fiqh, Hadeeth, Seerah & Arabic as a second language. He has volunteered as an imam at a number of masajid, including Masjid Al-Ih’san, which he also founded. Being a student of Shaykh Nasiruddin al Albani, the Muhaddith of our era, Jalal Abualrub strives to instruct Islam as it was revealed to the Prophet sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, based only off of the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah, through both his lectures and his books. Ustaadha Umm Maahir Ismaa'eel

Umm Maahir moved to Saudi Arabia in 1987 with her family, where they remained for 10 years, seeking Islamic knowledge. During that time, she studied the Qur’aan, Arabic and Fiqh, learning for three years at Darul Furqaan in Medinah and a year at Darul Hudaa in Jeddah. Afterwards, she studied a year at Darul Dhikr in Jeddah while teaching English there. Lastly, she studied fiqh with Dr. Faatimah Naseef (May Allaah preserve her). She most recently studied under the late Dr. Saleh es Saleh (Raheemahullaah) for three years.

In 1997, Umm Maahir co-founded North American Islaamic Foundation, Inc. (NAIF), a non profit organization that fights for the religious rights of Muslims across America. As a religious-rights advisor, Ummu Maahir has fought vigorously for the rights of Muslim women throughout Delaware. In constant contact with employers, educators and government officials she has striven to secure the right for Muslim women to wear Hijaab without suffering discrimination from doing so.

Umm Maahir established Darul Amaanah Transitional House in 2008, the first Drug Rehabilitation Program exclusively for Muslim women in the U.S. As founder and instructor at Darul Amaanah Qur‘aan Memorization Academy, Ummu Maahir has spent the last thirteen years volunteering tirelessly to assure that the Muslim children of the Tri-state area have an Islaamic school, offering them an environment where they can excel in the memorization of Qur‘aan, while securing Tawheed in their hearts. Umm Maahir’s intense concern for the dispensation of authentic knowledge has led her to implement a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum for the serious female students of knowledge in the U.S. Students of Ma’had Darul Amaanah, where they enjoy a weekly schedule of Qur’an, Arabic, Fiqh and Aqeedah. The Ma’had has completed Sharh Thalaathatul Usool by Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih Al Uthaymeen, Dispraise of Hawaa by Ibn Qayyim, The Natural Blood of Women by Shaykh Uthaymeen, Medinah Book One and The Arabic Reader. Ustaadh Abu Maryam Taufique Aziz

Abu Maryam is the Co-Founder of IslamLife Dawah Services Inc. He was born in the Ukraine to Bangladeshi parents but was raised in the United States. He is a graduate of Knowledge International University based in Riyadh, KSA. He has learned from many well-known Shuyookh that have enhanced his knowledge, such as Shaykh Sa'ad ibn Naasir ash Shithri (may Allah preserve him). He has been one of the dearest students of Shaykh Jalal Abualrub since 2002.

Taufique Aziz has been a member of many communities and served as an Imaam in the greater Philadelphia area. While doing so, he developed a great relationship with the youth, offered weekly halaqaat on various topics, and delivered Jumu’ah khutbahs across Masaajid in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Maryland. He was also an instructor at Madinah Educational Institute. In most of these Islamic centers and institutes, he has taught from books such as Usool ul Fiqh, Lum’atul I’tiqaad, Kitaab at-Tawheed, 40 Hadeeth of an-Nawawi, and Usool ath Thalaathah.

For those in need of counseling, Taufique Aziz has assisted many brothers and sisters, guiding them to overcoming their problems as advised in the Qur'an and Sunnah. He has directed many Muslims to authentic Islamic advice when it comes to numerous issues, some of which include marriage advice, sexual abuse, drug, alcohol and porn addiction. He is also trained in Ruqyah ash-Shariyyah (Qur'aanic Healing) according to authentic Sunnah, and has counseled patients suffering from Sihr(witchcraft), schizophrenia, OCD, and various other psychological disorders. He has conducted various Non-Muslim Da’wah programs at Colleges and Universities. Along with this, Taufique Aziz volunteered as a Muslim Chaplain at the Maryland Correctional Training Center. He currently resides in Northern Virginia and is actively involved with local Da'wah work.
